I meant to post this when I found it. But it's mentioned in a NYTimes editorial today, and as it's rare that I actually know about something before the Times is on it, then I'll be all d-baggy and say "Saw it first!"
What's that, Times? You casually mention it as if everyone knows about it already? You might have been the one to originally report on it? Huh. Guess I'll have to go back to the MSN entertainment section to prove my scooping superiority. (Oooh, burn! That's right.)
I rarely get into politics here, and don't mean to continue it going forward, but apparently the GOP's new attempt to get all up on Barack Obama's "change" ticket has run into a snag. "The Change You Deserve"? That sounds vaguely familiar. Hmmmm....
Brain Zaps.

Oh my god. The zaps are real. Seriously.
I think my comment on your site said it all, but I have to also say that I'm slightly disturbed that I was a bit light-hearted about the clinical phenomenon known as "brain zaps." Not cool. It just seemed an apt metaphor for the GOP (almost as good at the eight belles metaphor). Still, they don't sound like much fun at all.
No no, trust me, I think it is absolutely hysterical that "brain zap" is passing as legitimate medical terminology. It clearly asks for a wide variety of jokes to be made. But seriously, whatever happened to the good old days of long, obscure Latin/Greek-derived names for new medical phenomemon? Democracy has taken all the fun out of medicine...
